Live Wire is available to hire for rehearsals, classes, workshops and more.

Live Wire Dance Studio Terms and Conditions 2024

By booking the studio, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the following terms.

Booking

Bookings must be made by email or phone. We do not accept bookings via social media.

All bookings must be paid for in advance. A booking isn’t confirmed until payment is received. Bookings made a month or more in advance must be paid no less than 7 days before the booking date. Bookings made less than a month in advance must be paid no less than 3 days before the booking date. When payment is received, the code for the door will be sent to you. If you are using the space for a class, please do not share this code with your members.

We allow for back-to-back bookings and we expect our hirers to include time for setting up and packing down in their booked time slot. Please notify Live Wire Dance Studio immediately about any delays affecting your booking as a result of the previous hire. It can be difficult for us to rectify any issues after the fact so please let us know straight away.

If there is a session taking place in the studio before your class/rehearsal, please do not enter until your allotted time. If there is no one in the studio before your booking, the studio will be available no more than 10 mins before your agreed time. Live Wire Dance Studio reserves the right to invoice for any extra time used.

Please only book the amount of time you require. No refunds will be given if you only use part of the time you have booked.

Classes/Regular Bookings

We are happy to advertise your class on our website, social media, flyers and posters but you are ultimately responsible for the promotion of your class. If you cancel your class, please inform your members that the class is cancelled.

Facilities

There is a speaker in the studio with bluetooth, an aux cable, android and iPhone adapter.

There is a small kitchen and waiting area at Live Wire with drinking water and cups.

Live Wire is not currently accessible and is on the 1st floor up one flight of stairs.

WiFi is available in the studio, the details are printed above the stereo.

Pricing

£8 per hour before 6pm Monday to Friday
£12 per hour after 6pm Monday to Friday
£10 per hour all day Saturday and Sunday

There is a 1 hour minimum hire. All bookings must start and end on the hour or the half hour.

We offer a 10% discount for bookings of 10 hours or more when paid for in advance. This is to be paid within 14 days of the booking (or at least 5 days before the first session, whichever is sooner). This advance payment is non-refundable. The sessions may be rearranged if possible but cannot be cancelled.

Cancellations

We require at least 48 hours notice of cancellation. If cancellation is made without 48 hours notice of the booking start time, there is a 50% cancellation fee. Bookings cannot be changed or cancelled after the booking has started.

If no notice of cancellation is received, the full hire fee is payable.

If you cancel without at least 48 hours notice 3 or more times in any 3 month period, we reserve the right to charge you the full amount for any cancellations made without 48 hours notice.

Damages, Health and Safety, Insurance

You are responsible for the safety of everyone in your group whilst using the studio.

The floor in the studio is not suitable for heels classes. If you use the studio for tap or any other style that includes shoes that may damage the floor, you will be held responsible for any repairs required.

You will be liable for any damage caused to the spaces during or as a result of your hire. This includes (without any limitation) damage to the floor, walls, mirrors or sound system. Please report any breakages immediately.

Hirers should have their own public liability insurance. Live Wire Dance Studio takes no responsibility for any accidents, injuries or losses during your booking.

The inside door to the studio downstairs must remain closed at all times. If this door is found to be wedged open during your session, you will be asked to leave and no refund will be given.

Please leave the studio as you found it. Please place all rubbish in the bin.

Any lost property will be kept for one month. After this, it will be disposed of with any suitable clothing being given to charity.
